Care assistants’ to work in ‘elderly care homes’ in the private UK healthcare sector.
HEALTH CARE SUPPORT WORKER
The position will be one ‘step up’ from CARE ASSISTANT and one ‘step down’ from SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT.
Contracts will be for 48 contracted hours per week at £10.13 per hour.
FLEXIBILITY WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK DAYS OR NIGHT SHIFTS ON A ROTA BASIS AS REQUIRED BY THE HOME, INCLUDING SOME WEEKENDS.

Ø CARE WORKERS – WHO HAVE GOOD & CLEAR EXPERIENCE in (a) taking patients temperatures and pulses, (b) weighing, (c) checking patients’ vital signs, (d) performing urine tests. Experience with extracting blood samples is also preferred (but this is NOT essential).
Successful candidates MUST start within 3 months, otherwise their certificate of sponsorship will expire.
Certificate of sponsorship (COS) and offer of employment provided following a successful interview
Candidate can then apply for UK visa locally; employer will then pay the required visa cost
Flight and transfers to UK paid by employer
1 year permanent renewable contract (or 3 year contract?) – this is still TBC, but the client is looking for long term/permanent staff who are willing to relocate to the UK (for min 1 year)
Accommodation provided locally at approx. £275 per month including bills
Single (private) room provided in the accommodation, as part of a shared staff house
Senior care assistants are on the UK Shortage Occupation List and therefore our client is able to offer ‘sponsorship’ (known as skilled worker visas) for overseas care workers.
We will be looking to recruit 2 types of care staff:-
1. Candidates who are ‘registered nurses’ in their home country (but do not have the UK NMC nursing PIN yet)
2. Candidates who are NOT registered nurses, but who do have some experience of working in care
THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Interview days will take place by video call every 2-3 weeks
Successful candidates will then be sent (a) an ‘offer of employment’ and (b) a ‘certificate of sponsorship’ by the client via Recruiting Hubb
The successful candidate will then have to apply for the visa via this certificate of sponsorship
Flights and transfers are then booked by the organization for all candidates
