An established media house is seeking suitable applications for the post of Strategic Account Executive.
The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing new business opportunities to grow key existing client accounts and to win large accounts through new business. As a Strategic Account Executive will play a critical role in the selling of major profitable proposals and maintaining the retention of assigned key customers.
- Become an expert in Barbados Today’s products and advertising solutions and adapt product recommendations quickly to suit client needs.
- Represent Barbados Today at relevant networking and client events to promote awareness of and generate interest in the company’s capabilities and portfolio of products.
- Use initiative to identify and develop new business opportunities from assigned strategic accounts and increase business from key existing agency and direct client accounts.
- Assess client needs and develop strategies that deliver on them utilizing Barbados Today’s portfolio of products and capabilities.
- Lead advertising campaign kick-offs with clients, and manage all timelines, assets and opportunities for optimization.
- Coordinate with the relevant fulfillment teams to execute deliverables for clients.
- Responsible for client retention, client contract renewal process and ongoing profitability for portfolio of accounts.
- Honour the company’s credit control policies and assist in the collection of outstanding billings as well as delinquent accounts.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related degree or equivalent years of work-related experience.
- Previous experience in the media or digital marketing space with sound knowledge of digital advertising and marketing solutions is highly desired.
